Join the Virginia Manufacturers Association for an in-person Information Session on the Advanced Manufacturing Machine Operator Registered Apprenticeship Program (AMMORAP). This session is designed for individuals interested in starting a career in manufacturing. Attendees will learn how to enroll in the AMMO Pre-Apprenticeship Program, which provides foundational manufacturing skills, an industry-recognized credential, and direct connections to local manufacturing employers. Participants who complete the pre-apprenticeship receive an AMMORAP Certificate and support with job placement. Once hired, individuals transition into the Registered Apprenticeship, earning wages while working and training. After one year of employment, apprentices earn their Virginia Journeyworker Certification, positioning them for long-term career advancement in advanced manufacturing.
